Is it true that a sidewalk shed for construction is supposed to extend 5 feet to either side of the building that is being worked on?

Basement Space Value


I live in Cobble Hill and was wondering roughly the dollar per square foot value of a semi-finished basement. I was thinking 50% of residential prices, but I’m not sure. Thanks for any input.
