is it possible to have two fireplaces along the same stack? we bought a home and there are two open fireplaces, one on the first floor and one right above it on the 2nd, and neither can currently work because of blockages in the chimney. does anyone know if it is possible to have both fireplaces actually function as such, or would it only be that one could function and the other could be open for decorative purposes?
