Replacing Front Door


Hi All,

I’d like to replace our front door that is made of iron. Budget is minimal. Do you have any suggestions as to where to buy a new door and how to get it installed? Home Depot, Lowes, …? Should I get a composite vs wood?

Any input would be much appreciated.

Mortgage Sold to Fannie Mae


Dear All,

We initially got our mortgage from HSBC, then refinanced with them last June. Yesterday we received a letter from Fannie Mae informing us that our loan was sold to them. However the mortgage is still serviced by HSBC.

What does this mean? Are there any benefits to have our mortgage owned by Fannie Mae?
