*NEW* Radiator for sale (water)


We are renovating, and have a brand new radiator that came with the condo (we are only replacing it because we want a different size). It’s a bit dirty, but otherwise in perfect shape. It’s white, box-shaped, standard-issue Brooklyn radiator. Not sure the make/model. I assume it’s cast iron, as it’s very heavy. We are on the 4th floor of a walk-up, but two guys could carry it down easily. May require some additional pieces to install (not my area of expertise). 22.5″ x 20″ x 5″ If you leave your email address, I will send pictures.

Tiler needed – THIS WEEK


We are renovating our bathroom and our tiler just informed us that he can’t do the work in time for our move-in on May 1. We are looking for someone who can tile the floor and shower walls this week (Apr 22-29). The bathroom has been taken down to studs and the contractor now has it completely ready for tile – just need a good, available tiler! Tiles and supplies have already been purchased. Plumber for simple bathroom renovation


Our bathroom renovation includes replacing the sink and toilet with new ones, replacing the tub with a standing shower (lead pan) and re-tiling. None of the plumbing will move, although it’s our understanding that the drain in the tub will need to be bigger to accommodate the standing shower. We also have a standard radiator that we would like to recess into the wall (as long as we’re taking out all the drywall, this seems like a good idea to get a bit more space, but isn’t necessary). This bathroom was actually recently renovated, and all these changes are cosmetic. Can anyone recommend a plumber? Demo is underway and we’d like to have the plumber over asap for an consult and estimate.

We’re moving into a new apartment with brand new stainless appliances, but they won’t fit when we renovate the kitchen. The appliances have never been used, and still have all their instruction booklets, etc.
