Boerum Hill “Mariachi” Horn Honk


Since moving to 200 Schermerhorn in May, we have noticed a van in the area that announces itself by honking/playing its horn a few times per day and night. Has anyone else heard this?

Courthouse Apts. 125 Court St.


Just spent too much time trying to rent an apartment at 125 Court Street, Courthouse Apartments owned by Two Trees Management. Beware, the bait and switch is on! Sure they list 850 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartments at $2800 per month but when you go to check out the unit, with the intent to lease it, they’re fresh out! Since you are there the leasing assistant will gladly show you a 645 sq. ft. 1 bedroom for $2950 per month. Oh and their 1 bedroom with home office was going for $3100 per month in March. Which they also stated was $2800 per month over the phone. That price changed upon arrival as well. Liars.
