Salvage Question


We are about to do a big renovation, and will be replacing our heating, which today is steam heat through iron radiators and replacing almost all of our appliances, which are in good working order. Is anyone aware of services that will come and buy all your unwanted appliances, etc? thanks

Pouring Foundation in Winter?


does anyone have any experience with pouring a concrete foundation (for a brownstone extension) in winter (around early january)? is this absolutely a bad idea, or is it ok?
