Boiler accessory issues


Hi – Our low-water shut-off and automatic water feeder both broke virtually simultaneously. We got a quote to have both fixed for about $900. This sounded very high to us. Does anybody have any experiences with this sort of thing? Do you have any recommendations for somebody who can reliably get the job done for less? Thanks for your help.

engineering inspection


Hello folks –
We have an accepted offer on a place in Park Slope and need to move quickly on an engineering inspection. Can anybody recommend a good engineer. If anything, we are mostly concerned with the shape of the electrical system and, thus, would like to know about engineers with real expertise in that area. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
