Free Antique/Old Radiators
We have two old/possibly antique radiators we don’t need. They may be able to be restored or sold as scrap metal. They are free to anyone who is willing to come get them. We are in Park Slope.

Does anyone know whether Brooklyn’s elementary schools allow the public to use their playgrounds after school hours (evenings/weekends)? For example, P.S. 172 on 29th St. between 4th and 5th Ave.

Does anyone know whether there are any playgrounds or parks in the vicinity of 4th Ave. & 23rd Street. Looking for a good place to bring a small child to play. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Anyone looking for (prewar) radiators?
We recently removed the boiler from our building and installed electric heating so we now have four floors worth of charming old radiators we no longer need. The radiators are in great condition, original to our 1930 building, fully working, unpainted, and need a new home. I hate to see them thrown away. They are all shapes and sizes. If you are in the market for one radiator or several and can come pick them up in South Slope, we are willing to part with them for $25/$50 a piece (negotiable). Park Slope 5th Ave Attack
Does anyone know anything about the attack of a worker at the smoke shop on 5th ave btwn St. Marks and Warren in Park Slope that happened today. I’m concerned about the safety in my neighborhood and it seems that whenever anything violent/negative happens in Park Slope, details never make it to the news, keeping everyone in the neighborhood out of the loop as to what’s going on.
