Architect Needed?

A reputable, specialized contractor is redoing my brownstone facade. Is there any need to also hire an architect to supervise? The contractor insists he knows what needs to be done, and he has done several. Landmark approval of the project is being sought.

Thanks for any input!

Stair Part Needed

Any suggestion on where I can find a couple of these? It’s used to connect the bottom of a handrail to a side wall in order to provide lateral stability. It appears to be made of forged iron. Currently, the section of the handrail that is missing the piece isn’t stable. Any suggestions for a soucre either original or new, or a way to improvise would be helpful. Thanks.

Anyone know where I can get about 200 sq ft of 4.5″ x 3/4″ pine flooring? Antique preferred but not required.

Architect / Engineer needed

I would appreciate recommendations for someone who can tell me if an interior wall in my brownstone is structural. Can an architect do this or do I need a structural engineer? Thanks.
