Hi everyone, first time buyer here. As much as I’ve tried to educate myself about the market, neighborhoods, etc. there are still loads more that I don’t know (ie, which buildings have co-op boards so stringent, it’ll make me wish I never bid, etc.) So I’m contemplating working with a buyer’s broker. However, I often hear that having a buyer’s broker can be a disadvantage, for both negotiating a price and the seller’s broker favoring buyers without a broker. What was your experience? Thanks.
