Brick facade


I intend to strip my ugly fake-stone facade. i know the brick underneath will be damaged and much repointing will be needed – does anyone know a mason experienced with historic brick? My house is 120 years old and it may be hard to match the brick.

Basement Contractor


I have a terribly wet basement, the water oozes through the crumbling water – but I would like to explore finishing it, and I need to deal with the original lead main coming in from the street. Anyone know of a good contractor specifically for wet basements?

removing fake stone facade


I would like to explore removing the unattractive “Garden State Brick Face and Stone” fake stone facade on my little house in Greenpoint and restore it to the original brick. Has anyone had any experience with this? If anyone knows of a good mason or re-pointer, I’d love a name/number. Thanks.
