Wooden Shutters Need Repair/Installation


We are in need of someone to repair / paint / install our original wooden shutters in our brownstone. We don’t seem to have the proper hinges/hardware and would like to have someone take a look and give us an estimate. Does anyone have any suggestions for carpenters that would be interested in this job? Thanks!

reccomendation needed for mantel


I’m wondering if anyone knows who I can call to replace some peices on 2 of my 1870′s marble mantels (non-working fireplaces). We are missing a few pieces of the metal parts and would like to restore them to look original. Everyone reccommends manny Lasalle but he came by, said he would get us an estimate and then never called!? Any advice would be much appreciated.
