ANYONE USED A PROJECT MANAGER


I would like to get feedback from people who have worked with a Project Manager for a complete gut renovation. I have got a few estimates from GC’s and they have come in pretty high. I would like to sub-contract the work but need someone to manage the project since I work full-time. What are the advantages or disadvantages? How do most people manage/organize gut renovations?

SELLERS CLOSING COST


I am currently in the process of selling my house and I wanted to know how much I should expect to pay in closing costs?

I would like to know exactly how much I will be paying. The selling price of the house is $385K. TX.

“Discount Points”


I am working on getting an FHA loan and the Good Faith Estimate points out a “Discount Point” – is this a standard fee when getting an FHA loan?

what are the advantages and disadvantages?

Foreclosure


My neighbors house has been abandoned for sometime and I wanted to know if it was foreclosed on.

I looked it up and saw that it sold for a lot less than my properties worth.

When I saw the deed the seller is an Attorney (Referee) and the buyer was another bank.

Two Questions: If the seller is an Attorney as Referee does this mean this was a foreclosure?

Second why did his property sell for so low? Will this effect the appraisal on my property?
