Heat to upper floors
My wife and I are having an issue with the heat reaching the top floor of our 3 family house in Greenpoint. Our apt. on the ground floor and the 2nd floor apt. both get the proper heat, but there’s a big drop off in temp on the 3rd floor. So if we have the heat set at 71(our thermostat sets temp for the entire building), the temp on 3rd floor might be around 63-64. We had our heating guy replace the valves on the 3rd floor radiators as they seemed stuck, and that helped a bit, but hasn’t fixed the problem. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions about what to look for? Or maybe a suggestion for a really good heating contractor who knows how to diagnose problems well?
