Removing Birds Nest from Below Gutter

I am trying to have a birds nest removed from below our gutter in the rear of our brownstone.
does anyone have any recs for someone who knows something about insects associated with this, namely bird mites?

specifically, i am wondering if anyone out there in the Clinton Hill area remembers the Dept. of Agriculture guys coming around about a month ago looking for asian longhorns. there was a particular tree climber in the group that gave me his card, which i have since lost. I feel that this guy would be perfect for the job.

He was an athletic slender white male who climbs trees fast and has a tree pruning/removal business on the side. he may have given you his card which reads “(his name)’s Trees”

thanks all.

Peel Away Leaked onto Floor

I stripped my marble fireplace with Peel Away 7 and the vertical process made some of the liquid seep onto my parquet urethaned floors…
There are now black spots on the floor, as if some of the urethane had been stripped.
Does anyone have any experience with this- or ideas on how to restore the blackened sections to their original state?
I am thinking of sanding the area and then re-coating it with urethane…

Urethane

I’ve sanded the upstairs floors in my home and they were a beautiful, blond colored pine. Yesterday they were coated with oil based urethane and they look completely orange & black… they look like veneers, or fake, painted wood. Is there anything one can do to coat pine yet keep it from oranging? Regretting that I didn’t pickle them…

Woodworker: Box Out Windows

Looking for a reliable and not extremely overpriced woodworker to box out about 8 windows in my non-historic district 1877 brownstone in Brooklyn. If anyone has had this done by someone they’d recommend I’d love to hear about it. Thanks!
