I’ve received a quote to replace the stairs from the parlour floor to the floor above in my brownstone — work includes all oak steps and magogany spindals and hand rail, and includes the rails on the parlour floor landing and the top floor landing. The quote is for $14,000 — I’d be interested to find out if the cost is in line with what others have paid for similar work.
