Turning a 3 family House into a 3-Unit Condo?


We own a 3 family house that we would like to continue living in. We spent money to gut renovate the bottom duplex and have tenants on the two top floors. We would rather not be landlords. Rather than leave the apartments empty or spend money to expand our space we wanted to see what it would involve to sell half of our house. We are in Boerum Hill Brooklyn.

Structural Engineer


I need to find a really great structural engineer to do a inspection of a home we are looking to buy. Any recommends. I am especially concerned about the roof, and potential issues with asbestos, lead paint, and mold as I have children.
