Mulch Need


Brownstoners don’t fail me now…you’ve helped with everything else!!
I am desperatley searching for cocoa shell mulch. I used it all of the time prior to my move here- but now i can’t find it. No I don’t have a dog and will only use it in a gated contained area- any ideas? I am willing to travel within reason….Kings does Not have it, nor lowes, nor Home Depot…any suggestions for annuals etc. would also be greatly appreciated

30″ doors


Once again i turn to the support group that has saved my renovation sanity- anyone know where there might be in-stock 30″ exterior doors? They are not at the usual lowes, home depot, dikes- I’m striking out on this one.

Hardwood Floors


We have been renovating a limestone since August (thinking we’d be in by Christmas- think again) we have gone through several contractors and as we are finishing up we are thinking of the floors and the mess that has been made of them with drywall dust and paint drops etc. My questions are: 1. I am assuming this should be the last thing done. 2. has anyone had a good and economical person do this for them? Recomendations? 3. Does anyone have any do-it-yourself reccomendations or cautions? We are not sure if this is something we want to try in our current state of distress- we just need to get in there already!! The guy laying our tile has said he would give it a try- but with 7 months of renovation trauma experience I’m not so sure thats a good idea. Opinions suggestions and experiences please!

Mr Slim Mitsubishi vs. Fujitsu


Hello,
No it is not a wrestling match! We have just last week closed on a brownstone home- we are looking for a cooling unit and have heard about both Mr.Slim and Fujitsu. Anyone have any experience or recomendation about one of these systems as opposed to a traditional vented system??? HELP! thanks.
