Water Damage Question


I have water damage on a wall and floor that seems to be coming up from below the floor. It is an interior wall so I don’t think it is an exterior problem. Who can I call to help me figure out the source of the water? I called one plumber and they said they would need to start opening up the wall and floor which i’d prefer to limit if possible. Are there specialists for this sort of thing?

lot line question


I am looking to make some renovations to the exterior wall of a property whose exterior wall is about 10 feet from the lot line. RIght now it is a solid wall and I’d like to put in windows and french doors. Anyone know what the building code says about putting windows so close to a lot line? I can’t find anything but have been told it might be too close.

I’d also be happy to take any recs for a good architect who can help me with this project.
