noise insulation


I live on a corner of busy Atlantic Ave. I’d like to put something in my window which doesn’t have a view to insulate against noise. I’m thinking of a piece of insulation-like Tyvek-having it cut to fit or foam like they cut for matrresses and pads.
Any suggestions which woulod absorb noise better?
