New construction interior dimensions – expected tolerances

When comparing actual new construction condo dimensions (interior dimensions) with those listed in the offering plan, what kind of tolerances are normal / to be expected, and where do differences become large enough that a complaint should be filed with the attorney general? For example (actual numbers made up by me):

1-2 inches: normal construction tolerances
2-4 inches: greater than expected disrepancies, but probably not enough to complain about
4-6 inches: grounds exist for filing a complaint

If any one has a handle for what the above numbers should really be (either in absolute terms, or as a relative % of the dimension), that would be greatly appreciated.

Just to be clear, I’m talking about interior dimensions (backed by the scale drawings of the floor plan), and not a proxy measure of overall square footage (which includes interior walls, etc.).

Many thanks for your help,
AP

Flatbush Streetscape Improvement Pojrect

Does anyone know if the Flatbush streetscape improvement project, slated to being in fall 2008, is still on track?

The NYC EDC website doesn’t have much information, and the RFP for the project was taken down from their website… Any insights greatly appreciated.
