FS: 1952 American Standard Vintage corner bathtub 4.5 long!!
Hi there,
We have another 1952 American standard tub but this one is white cast iron. It is a right hand apron front bathtub (like the pink one) that is for sale. It will probably need to be reglazed (we can give you our guy he does it well for $225).
It is 4.5 feet long by 31 inches wide. It is a corner “apron front” tub, meaning it is finished at the bottom end wrapping around the one side are finished to the floor and the front (shower) end and other side sit snug against the wall.
NOTE: It is NOT this tub in the picture, but this shows you the apron…email me for pics or come by to see.
$150 obo – pick up asap in Clinton hill or delivery possible for a fee.

1902 Brownstone Built-In Oak Server / Buffet
Oak Built-in Server/Buffet with mirrored shelves Available
Looking for a new home for a built-in oak server from a 1902 Park Slope Brownstone/Limestone. Overall dimensions are 72w x 92h x 24d. The unit has already been pulled out of its space and has scribing strips on either side which will allow for some adjustment in size/relocation. $450 obo – which is what it cost me to pay the guys to get it out and move it to my hall, where I found out it doesn’t fit where I need it to… need out of my hallway asap! Hope this will work in your renovation?
Five Free Stoves
I’ve had these sitting under a tarp since last year when I tried to find them a good home…As much as it pains me they are going to the recycling center on Friday unless someone wants them! There is the large one in the pic and some 20″ Welbilt stoves as well. Email for directions info145halsey at yahoo dot com. You can come see them, measure them, whatever. They will need TLC but were working when they were removed from the property.
Fingers crossed someone can use them somehow.

ISO: Original Wood Beams/Anyone done endgrain floor?
This is a follow up to my earlier post looking for flooring… as an alternative…
I may have to get a bit creative with the last 400 sqft of flooring in our place as we have run over our budget (big time). We have a number of old beams that I was thinking of milling down to create endgrain “tile” blocks (see picture). I don’t have enough, but close. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to part with some of their old wood beams/joists? If you are like me they are sitting in your basement waiting for a project!
Catch is that they will have had to be inside so they are dry. Any tips on where to find some welcome too! (BIGNYC is out). I don’t know if it matters but I’m in Clinton Hill and will of course come to you.
Also, has anyone done this? Any advice welcome-particularly the non-snarky kind.
Thanks all! (info145halsey at yahoo dot come)
ISO: 400 sf Wood flooring from brownstone any condition
Hi there,
Don’t send it to the garbage!
I need 400+ square feet (think about the size of a big front parlor room) of wood flooring and know that someone out there is tearing something out! It could be pine (wide, narrow, underlayment boards etc), oak, parquet whatever, just as long as it is old. I would also be happy to have my very careful and skilled contractor remove it for you if you are planning a new floor? Only catch is I need it soon. I am happy to buy it from you, remove it, save you the labor and garbage hauling fee etc! If you have anything you think might work please send me an email at info145halsey at yahoo dot com. Thank you!!

More CheapFree Stoves Come & Get
Need out today or tomorrow!! We have four or five very sweet 20″ Antique Waterman Stoves looking for a good home. We think they all work but haven’t checked them all. They will be charming somewhere and will clean up nice. $20 each. I recommend Father and Son Appliance to make them sparkle – VERY reasonably priced. Sadly, I have to get them out and my plan to refurbish all and sell at the flea won’t work due to timing and new baby. Enjoy and email me at info145halsey at yahoo dot com
We’d love $20 bucks each but will be happy with them going to good home today!
