Developer Sean Ludwick (25 Sparta) seeks to exceed limits, pursuing variance for his project at 580 Carroll St./25 Garfield Place. Community Board Land Use Committee will hear issues Thursday May 28 at 6 PM at Old First Church, 729 Carroll St. Primary issue is over- development, density and the resultant crowding of local schools, overtaxing of sewers, streets and infrastructure. This all glass fronted rental makes Con Ed building on 4th Ave.look good. Project has damaged surrounding homes, clogged up the streets and racked up countless complaints at DOB. This out-of-character, out-of-scale project needs to be limited not expanded
