Inspector for New Construction


Hi. I was wondering if anyone could recommend an inspector that specializes in new construction. Im accepting of the fact that in most new construction projects the developer most likely cut corners. I’m looking for some who will point out where the corners were cut, when they might become an issue and how much will it cost to correct. I’ve done a search on the site and it seems most of the inspectors recommended focus on brownstones and coops….not to say that they couldn’t handle new construction. Thanks in advanced for the help.

Also, Im open to any advice people may have about purchasing in a new development.

Park Slope PPSF


Hi all. My wife and I are immigrating to PS from midtown to start our family. I was wondering if I can get some opinions on what a reasonable PPSF would be for new construction. We are considering making an offer on a 1100 sq ft 2 bedroom duplex with a terrace and city views zoned to PS321. Unfortunately we don’t really like the layouts of the traditional PS brownstones and have taken a liking to one of the new developments.
