Beam Replacement


I have to replace a beam in my place that runs from front to back of the building in the basement. The building is about 43 feet long. I am looking for a few pieces of info: (1) recommendations for companies to do the work; (2) approx. price for the work; (3) how long it generally takes; and (4) whether there are any alternatives to replacing the entire beam.
