structural engineer recomendation?


hi,

my husband and i are looking demo some walls in our park slope brownstone in order to make a duplex out of two apartments, but the contractor recomends we have a structural engineer look at it to see how we deal with the load bearing issue. Can anyone recomend an engineer that they’ve actually worked with and feel that they are professional, reliable and knowledgable about brownstones? thanks for your help.

need a recomendation for architect


hi,

my husband and i would like to duplex the top two floors of our brownstone as well as make a small addition on the roof. Can anyone recommend a good architect that will work with our VERY tight budget?
