Community Bank Recommendations
I am looking to refinance my mortgage with a smaller community bank. Or at least with a bank slightly less evil than my current lender Wells Fargo. Does anyone have any experience with Brooklyn Federal Savings? Any other relevant advice is welcome. Thanks.
Plasterer needed
Hello,
A 3×4 chunk of my parlor ceiling has fallen and I don’t know why. I’m looking for referrals for someone who specializes in replacing plaster.
Thank you.
Lease
Hi there,
I need to give our tenant a lease. Can anyone tell me where I can buy them or do you create your own? I have an addendum but I need a lease with all of the proper legal wording.
Thank you.
Problem with Neighbor in Foreclosure
I’m writing in search of advice on whom to contact about unsafe and unsanitary conditions at the house directly next door to ours. The owner, who did not live in the building, has apparently gone into foreclosure. All tenants have left, and no one on the block has the owner’s contact info. The front of the house is strewn with discarded furniture and trash. The real problem, however, is that the neighbor’s chimney, which sits one story above our roof, looks like it might fall. The pointing is completely gone on the side facing our roof, and it is leaning in our direction. Pieces of cement are falling from the side of their building onto our roof. Does anyone know whom I should contact about these issues? Is there a way to find out if the property has been foreclosed? If so, then what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Free Radiator
Beautiful old radiator 24″Wx38″H. If you can come and take it, it’s yours (you will need a hand truck). Please email me if interested:

heat won’t reach top floor
The hot-water heat in our 3 story house isn’t reaching the top floor at all. I’ve tried bleeding the radiators of air, but that hasn’t worked. Each time I do it, you can hear the air escape, but water never comes out. And they are stone cold, while the radiators on the first 2 floors are nice and toasty. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Master Plvmber, are you out there?
Waste Line Leak
The DEP recently confirmed that my neighbor’s waste line is leaking into my basement. She is ederly, and I am concerned about her being taken advantage of. I would like to help her find some reputable companies to give her estimates. Any recommendations? Thanks.
