Can’t Get Con Ed to Upgrade Meter


I recently ( 3 months ago) upgraded the wiring in my 1947 co- op and cant’ get Con Ed to do their part. Apparently, they need to come and upgrade the meter- until that is done, the upgrade doesn’t take effect. I learned this the hard way when I had 2 air conditioners on at the same time and it blew the fuse. My electrician and I have called numerous times and have been told they will get to it ASAP. Any suggestions for how to hurry this up? I have guests coming in August and need the extra power- besides- I paid a lot of money for the upgrade and would like to avail of it!

Kitchen Renovation


Hi- I have a relatively small kitchen that I want to renovate- no plumbing or electric work- just new cabinets, countertops and floor. AM I better off working with someone who will do it all or go directly to a retail place , buy the items and have them install? Anyone have any firms they recommend? Has anyone worked with Perfect Renovations in the Heights?
