Glass Block
Will glass block be “warmer” than cheapo standard alum framed double pane? I see R values on Co. websites but I wonder as to the conductive quality of a large amount of glass – the Alum windows conduct massive cold (the frames).

Letter of proof of code…
I need a person of some standing to write an offical letter that we can give to Wells Fargo to satisfy them that our two family row house is “up to code’ this is needed to refinance…
Who would I hire to do this, any one you all have to suggest?

security bars a & codes?
Wells Fargo is blocking our refinancing becaue they say they do not approve some of our bars, they lock. Can someone address this – they now say if we can submit a letter from the city or? that they will okay it – real weird thing is we have our mortgage with Wells Fargo and then they pull this… any thoughts or someone that could help? And what is the code – we are a single family house with a garden apt – they want us to remove 1890′s bars on that level!
