Radiator enclosures in Clinton Hill Co-ops
Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy ready-made (not custom) replacement covers for the radiator enclosures in the Clinton Hill Co-ops? If so, where, and about how much do they run? Thanks.
Advice re: Clinton Hill Co-Op Kitchen Reno
We’re moving into a 2BR in the Clinton Hill co-ops and are looking to renovate the kitchen before we settle in. I’ve seen the post on apartmenttherapy.com about a CH co-op reno (it’s great), as well as the NYT article from last year. Like the NYT example, we’re looking to tear down a wall and open it up to the living room, but are stuck with two load-bearing columns. As a result, we’re looking for two kinds of advice: folks who have done this type of reno and have words of wisdom about the process, AND folks who can suggest an affordable and wise (!) kitchen designer who can help us think through what’s possible. Thanks!
Good Co-op Inspector
We’re buying a late 50s coop in Brooklyn and are looking for a thorough and reliable inspector: does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
