Prop Mgmt for 2-Unit Bstone


Am in CA and need someone to do light managing for a 2-unit brownstone in Prospect Heights. Not a lot of day-to-day involved, just need someone for tenants to call if there’s a repair, and deal with finding new tenants/moving out old ones. Landlord looking for broker


Can any landlords recommend any particular agent or company to deal with in listing your apartment for rent? I’m going out of town for a couple of weeks so want a broker to handle showing the place while I’m gone – have had bad experiences with most (usually I just use craigslist and show it myself but I can’t field all the traffic for the next few weeks), so hopefully a recommendation through brownstoner will steer me to someone motivated and professional who can get the place rented. Thank you!

Bathtub/shower in basement?


Can I, and do I need a permit if so, put a bathtub/shower in a half basement? (half meaning there are windows in the front and back – only goes halfway below street level). Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who could help design and install?
