Also found this work in that Abandoned Brownstone we cleaned out for the new owners who are my friends, its original, drawn out by what I think is Pencil, there is some script writing in the back, I can barely read it though, seems like a message of some sort. Can anyone help me again with age, value etc.

I found these Copper/Brass chairs in an abandoned Brownstone (Over 20 Years) I was cleaning out for a friend who is the new Owner. Can anyone tell me anything about them, value, origin, age, etc.?

Planning two reno projects, and I could use two bits of community wisdom.
1) What might I expect to get for selling an old clawfoot tub in fine condition?
2) In a non-landmarked Slope building, are there legal height restrictions on backyard fencing?

Unique flame Mahogany desk c1930′s. 46wx31h (desk top)x 66h(mirror top)x 18D. In perfect condition.. (the mirror has a small 2 inch section where the silver is peeled slightly) We are moving and must part with lots of furniture that we have accumulated over the years for much less then we originally paid for them…Asking $650. have a 6 unit apartment building in queens. in the lobby is an old brass mailbox where the top half opens up for the mailman to put the letters in, and the bottom half is divided into 6 separate units for the tenants.

the top half has one big pin that holds it in place and it looks like the pin broke. (probably the mailman did it)

anyone know a place that sells replacement parts or someone who can come fix it? i would hate to get a new one since all the new ones are ugly…this is shiny brass with integrated door bells that looks gorgeous.

its from ‘auth elec spec co new york’ but when checking their site they only have new parts.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Found this a few years back, haven’t been able to make a connection to its original purpose. Seems to be made of a kind of Plexi Glass & Mirror.

We have lots of great antique furniture from different periods (Victorian, Deco, 1910-1930′s) featuring…Mahogany secretary w/curved glass front, 3 mahogany stackable bookcases w/leaded glass fronts, gorgeous Biedermeir dining room consisting of table and 6 chairs and 2 buffets dating pre 1880′s. We have birdseye maple dressers, mirrors, and lighting and lots more. We bought these items over the years and are NOT dealers and are selling due to a move.
