We have a lot of snow on the sidewalk in front of the building. We dug out the path on the sidewalk for pedestrians. But there is a car parked next to the building and owner of the car confronted us about the snow between sidewalk path and the car driver side door. Is this our responsibility to dig sidewalk all the way to the car parked on the street? I dug out the path to the car’s door. But she sounded like she wanted confrontation more then the access to the door and she mentioned legal actions as well. Please tell me, what is my responsibilities in this and what is the best way to avoid problems. I made a few photos of the car with the path to the door while she was siting in the car. She left car till tomorrow. Anything else need to be done. Should I dig out wider path?
