Stupid yellow pages company left 16 phone books on my stoop yesterday, along with EVERY OTHER 1 or 2 family brownstone on my block. First of all, PHONE BOOKS? WHO USES THEM? Second, who can I complain to about this? 311 will log it dutifully and then file it just like the ark at the end of “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. The phone book company? At best, they’ll apologize. At worst, they will be rude. Brownstoner you are my only hope. Someone please give me the tools to stop this madness.
