First time posting, any help, suggestions, experiences would greatly appreciated. Oct.2007 winter heating fine, Oct.08 winter fine, spring 09, saw water spot on garden level. understand that it’s coming from radiator above (front parlor).

Radiator turned on for this season, water started to drip.

Opened ceiling last week with GC. Can’t find anything, radiator area dried up due to heat. We changed valve to see if that might be it.

Nothing happened till this morning, (almost a week later) water started dripping again.

GC mentioned if it’s not the valve, then he have to replace the whole radiator which would cost a few thousand.
