Getting Rid of TONS of Books

I have something like 50 boxes filled with books that, frankly, most people would not want (e.g., political nonfiction). They are all in my basement and I want to get rid of them. I can’t even carry the boxes up, let alone deal with a stoop sale. The home run would be finding a bookworm who was willing to come take them all. Short of that, I would pay someone to carry them up, load them up, and dispose of them (far too much for recycling). Any thoughts on how to get this done?
