Hi all. I just moved into a new place, with a brand new dishwasher. The building is a pre-war condo conversion… so the plumbing is all new, as are the appliances.
My roommate used the dishwasher yesterday, and this morning we noticed an inch or two of water just hanging around on the bottom, not draining. I’ve removed the filter and whatever else I see there, but no action.
Any advice? Is there something I need to know about first-time dishwashing? Could it be the plumbing? (Everything else works fine, plumbing-wise, in my apt and the building as a whole, as far as I can tell…)
