Burner Mounting Plate/Fuel Line

I’m on the board of a co-op and heat is provided to our brownstone by an HB Smith Series 18 boiler.

We recently had some unscheduled repairs, and were very surprised by the invoice amount from our maintenance vendor. Does anyone have similar experience, and if so, how did you resolve the issues? We’re happy to pay a fair price, but how do you know what that is?

More specifically, two repairs were performed:

(1) Replace burner mounting plate and blast tube.

(2) Reinstall new fuel line from top of oil tank to burner.

Can anyone provide an order of magnitude estimate to perform one or both of these repair services? Does $1,300 and $2,300 respectively sound low, high, or in line for each of these workscopes?

Many thanks from a first time Brownstoner.
