Window Security Grills/Bars

I am attempting to refinance my Park Slope Brownstone nad the lender is insisting that I have safety release latches on all of the first floor windows which are fitted with security grills/bars. Any recommendations on a contractor or company that does this type of work? Has anyone had a similar experience?
