I am a first-time home buyer who just closed on a co-op in Fort Greene and I would like to highly recommend Universal Mortgage, specifically Mark Maimon and Heidi Stone.

They were amazing. Everything was easy, smooth, and we were prepared to close just 6 weeks after the contract signing. I was able to secure 90% financing (which everyone said I wouldn’t be able to do in this lending climate); PMI (ditto); and locked in at a great rate with 0 points.

They were also helpful in getting my initial bid accepted because of their reputation.

Mark and Heidi were friendly, honest, and competent and everything they said would happen did.
