I went over to see 660 Bergen this weekend (Bergen and Vanderbilt). Has anyone else been here? The building is shady!! The duplex units on top are being sold as a 2 bedroom, even though the floor plan has it as a one bedroom +attic. The brokers (Aguayo and Huebener) were shady and kept telling me that we could build an illegal bathroom in the attic and no one would find out. Even offered to give me the numbers of some plumbers who would do it for us without asking too many questions! The whole thing seemed so darn fishy! Anyone have any thoughts on this development? Also, I’d like to report the broker in. Any ideas on how to do this? Hopefully people moving in here are asking the right questions and realize what they are getting into. The whole building could shut down because of illegal contruction encouraged in the building!
