Preapproved FHA. Worth Anything?

Hello all,

I got a preapproved letter from my mortgage company. I wonder what it really means- does it mean that I will get my loan for -100%? What are the chances of it falling?

Also, how am I able to sign a contact when no one agrees to give you FHA contingency?
