Follow-up on gas rates

If you sign on for fixed-rate from Gateway, you’re essentially buying futures. Their offer is 89.9 cents per therm for a one year & 95.2 for a 2-yr commitment. My current rate is 1.03 & the high for the last year was in July – 1.61. The low was Oct. at 99.5.
Haven’t decided yet.
