Oil Tank Removal

Hi ‘Stoners:

There was a post in January about Oil Tank removal (see http://www.brownstoner.com/forum/archives/2009/01/oil_tank.php#post-comment)

My question: when you get the tank removed, is there anyway to sell the excess oil? I have been trying to keep my tank low in anticipation of conversion this summer, but I have to get a delivery to get through the end of May, and the minimum is 100 gallons. When the plumber drains my tank, what happens to that oil? Any way I can siphon it out and sell it to a landlord friend?
