I want to build front fence and need to know, how far forward I can put it. The property line goes right thought the front wall of the house. The other house close by has fence 3′ in front of the property line and more houses down the block have fence 6′ in front of the property line. Who can help me with determining legal limits on the property line? Should I call architect? How much would it cost and would you provide any recommendation. The place is in Bay Ridge. Should I consult with community board instead?
