Well, we are going to start construction today, and i just got a letter in the mail from BA for renewal of our policy, though this time with Everest.

I am thinking now may be a good time to switch to someone else, and wondered if people have had issues changing insurance carriers when construction is underway?

I was thinking to contact Chubb – just figured they’d be the best.

Only problem is we are currently a 3 family (though we have no tenants and are converting in the construction to a 1 family CO) and I thought Chubb had issues with this.

Any views on this?
