What to do about front doors?

Our front door is not aesthically pleasing, and it’s not the original door either though it is close to 100 years old. The original doors were double glass doors (only one of our neighbors has this). What do we replace our existing doors with? Single door with some glass on the top? Single solid wood door? Double solid doors? Double glass doors? No landmark restrictions.
