The North Flatbush BID launcheds its new online website www.nfbid.com in January 2009 where shoppers, residents and business owners may find the latest information about what is happening on North Flatbush Avenue.

After many years talking about needing a new website and a couple of false starts, the North Flatbush BID is now online with a brand new website. In the middle of January 2009, at the helm with Joe Orr and Sharon Davidson, both BID Board Members, the North Flatbush Avenue BID launched its new website, www.nfbid.com and is targeted toward shoppers, residents and merchants of North Flatbush Avenue District.

For shoppers, we are planning to introduce our brand new merchant brochure online where with just a click of a button, anyone can navigate their way around our district and find out where they can shop and dine with our mix of new retail stores, organic and health food stores, pharmacies, vintage boutiques, real estate businesses, hardware and housewares, liquors and wine and a wide variety of international foods and restaurants. We hope to have this brochure up and running within the next few days. We now have a way to communicate witho out residences about our new streetscape design and plan for the distric that is slated for 2009 and how they can be a part of our community forums.

For merchants, our website offers them an easy way to find out what the BID is doing and how they can communicate with the BID about issues they are facing.
