This may have already been covered — under code enforcement or quality of life?? The empty lot next to the Montauk Club on Plaza Street next to the Grand Army Plaza subway entrance is kind of an eyesore. Does anyone know if the MC still owns it? If so, any plans to build on it or re-landscape? I notice the beautiful fence around the Club (which also surrounds the empty lot) is in obvious disrepair… some sections are falling down and the Club has tied chains around it. I would imagine the fence has been landmarked – or some equivalent – which makes its condition all the more upsetting. Can anyone shed any light?
