off topic, i know, but can anyone help? looking for a space, preferably in brooklyn, to have a party with 125 seated, room for music-playing and dancing, where we’re not forced to use somebody’s overpriced caterers. preferably a non-swanky place, but cool. example of the preferred aesthetic is bargemusic, but it’s way too small. already ruled out Galapagos ($18,000 for a night!), SmackMellon, Waterfront museum, Powerhouse, Boathouse, Picnic House, Friends Meeting House (so many houses!), etc. Help! Event is supposed to be April 4th.
